This online programme provides students with a deep-dive into qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, as well as the basics of (mixed-method) research design. This programme is designed primarily for students who are entering a master's programme at the Graduate School of Social Sciences and also accepts applications from external candidates interested in honing their research methodology skills.
Note: there are three ways to register for this course. Please ensure you follow the link given in your letter from the Summer Programmes Office and pay the correct fees.
- Internal Candidates: Participants taking the course as part of their admission to a UvA Master's programme organised by the Graduate School of Social Sciences.
- UvA Other: Participants taking this course who are starting a Master's in a different field, or who are already studying or working at the UvA.
- External Candidates: Participants who are opting to take this course voluntarily, and who do not fall into either of the other categories.
